The Inner Circle

Well I’ve been home for nearly a week now… It’s been slow. I don’t miss uni much. Shame really… I’ve done a hell of a lot of work on siren… it’s now basically usable… apart from one anoying bug in admin.so.

www.* is lagging behind… it must get a move on… I must pull my finger out.

I haven’t been opering much recently, I haven’t really had much time to. Shame really.

Still haven’t unpacket from uni, my room is cluttered with boxes, etc. All the computers are set up mind…

Gonna hold a #docs gather at some point after the 19th, which should be fun.

Parrents are going away in 6 hours to greece for two weeks leaving me the house and the car, and a lot of alchole….

My heart is filled with an air of sadness… I look at my room as I start to pack it unto crates and I just feel and thing about the good times, and the bad times I’ve had here.

Finding out my ex was dating a good friend, not being able to talk to my old friends anymore. Finding out people I liked wern’t single. Being very drunk, throwing up. Having to act out as a team leader.

I’ve had the good times, meeting new friends, having fun with Laura and co. Becoming an operator, getting to be a team leader on dal.net. Have relations :). Geting new toys, and loosing them.

Not only have these things happened to me here, but it’s been a home. I’m used to having the people I know around me. I would even go as far as saying they’re a kind of family.

Out of our block I will be the third person to pack up, but the fourth to actually sign out. I’ve seen this block at many times of the year, at new year, when it’s been pieceful and relaxing… clean and quiet. When we first moved in… the excitement.

The fun of the fire alarms, always at the most problamatic times ;). It’s been a good first year at university, although some people would argue. I feel it’s been good.

I finished my last exam of Level 1, if I pass I become Level 2… Out with the freshman title, and in with the sophomore title.

This room will go to another person, and all the joy and fun they have. And I hope they do.

Well what fun am I having at the moment. Tommorow is my last full day at univerisity this year… On Friday I have a morning lecture, then in the afternoon I go home… and that’s it for this year.

I have this strange feeling I’m slowing down writing these diary entries… that’s what usually happens when I write these… Mind you a lot has happened recently.

I’ve had one exam which seemed to go okey, I’m building world on narwar. I’ve applied for that ITS job. I’m getting ready to leave. I’ve protested against residential services asking for moenyf or a door sign on the ground floor… Asked for a letter of appology from them.

dal.net are being given notice of copyright infringement that we don’t even uses. Lame ass lawyers just saw the words dal.net on a site and jumped. Idiots.

I’m thinking about doing web page design for summer, I can think of serveral places in Stafford that would be good candidates. Paul Reynolds Weston House would be a good one.

People are screaming for new features on dal.net’s web pages, which arn’t great because we’re just abou tot start on version 3. Which I’ve done several database scetches for so far.

Well it’s been a boring few days, so I’d best inform you of what hasn’t happened.

Well as far as university is concerned I’ve only been doing revising, oh, I’ve appllied for an ITS job over the next acedemic year.

Had a reasonably eventful dal.net few days. I’ve had a lot of success sorting out help.*’s staff and finding out who’s who. That leaves kline to go.

I’ve had to remove SurfRDude from the bahamut web team due to certain actions he performed that looked bad on the team. I was disappointed of well.

Anyhow, I’m off to go download some free music
