Well I guess it’s been a while since I’ve written in here, to long really.
What’s happened since I last wrote… well, that was back in November. I’ve been working, which sucks, although I’m enjoying it more now as I no longer have to do any of the stuff that I hated, like asset databases. I also get my own slave in July ;).
I’m seeing Millie again, she rang up on Christmas Day and we had a talk about how we really felt, still felt. So I aranged to go down to hers on the next weekend. We spent a nice weekend together and things where as close as before.
I haven’t seen her since then, but I get to see her in March, she’s coming over for a long weekend, but my parents are away (infact my mom suggested it, like I wouldn’t have anyway ;). So it’s just going to be us together, which should be really nice.
I sent her flowers for the 14th of this month, I was afraid they wern’t going to get there…. can’t trust the French :). But they did and she liked them. I was in Lancaster at the time, and I got a message on MSN messanger… “You’re so dead”. 
I’m really missing her.
John and Joy have split up, not sure what to say. I’m not sure how John’s taking it, he’s argry, but I think he’s worse inside. Joy… I’m not sure what she feels about it.
What else? I’m on a quest to write a story again, I’ve got a strong idea this time, and I’m just trying to build a decent plot around it. It’s sci-fi so I should manage it. Probably put it online if it ever gets anywhere.
I think I got done for speeding the other day, I was traveling north from Stafford on the M6 and saw a flash at Junction 19, ironically I had only just decided to stay on to 20 and then onto the M56. I was doing 85+ I think, so we’ll see if I get done for it.
It’ll be a week tommorrow, and aparently the police are supposed to serve the NIP (Notice Of Intent To Prosecute) within two weeks. So we’ll keep our fingers crossed and in contact with wood.
What else… geek toys… xeon is now up to 73 days, longest uptime for any server I’ve had at home. I guess it’s just because I’ve let it do it’s job.
I now have a Meridian PBX for the house next year, meaning we’ll all have extention numbers. I’m just working on getting call logging (one way to settle student arguements “well it came from your extension”), an ATA (Analogue Terminal Adapter) for attaching a modem to it (thinking wake up calls here run by MySQL database) and finally an interface to NetMeeting, looking at a PhoneJACK card, but they’re rare in the UK and not sure it’ll fully work.
Appart from that, not much has really happened so I’m going to leave it at that.
