Once again… it’s been a while…

Well it’s been a while once again since I wrote in here. Most of the times I write here it’s because something major has changed. This time however, nothing major has.

I’ve re-entered DALnet’s staff again on Aaron’s server (trogdor.hub.dal.net). Back pritty much to where I was. CSop, Technical Web Bitch. This time though I’m getting more involved with coders@ and sra@.

I’m currently programming a network simulator for thoose teams to use, and for me to use with my final year project. Should be good if it works. Ya never know if they think it’s efficent maybe I’ll join coders@ or be invited to sra@.

There’s also some underlying thought of being Aarons Assistant Administrator, which would be fun and would be an aditional knick in my belt. Although sra@ would be even better.

So what else? Well uni’s still hecktic, a bit more enjoyable this term though. I’ve put on so much fucking weight it’s untrue, I need to loose that asap.

My love life is still apauling, ie, non-existant. I need to do something about that too. I get so depress’d seeing other people about with partners. Especially with this weekend aproaching. It’s just not good.

Heh I’m sat here and there is a guy across from looking at me like he knows me. Possibly DALnet? It wouldn’t supprise me.

Re: uni, I really really need to get so much of my finaly year project done, but I don’t really want to. I’m looking forward to the implementation aspect, but once again the documentation sucks.

Works okey atm, however it’s about to get bad, ie non-existant. British Waterways have agree’d to outsource to Fujitsu, what’s interesting is that Compuacentre walked away from the negotiation table because we wanted it to cheap. Go figure.

Vin was talking to the guys from Fujitsu and there was some discussion regarding mainframes and how hard it was to get younge people interested in them. It sounds like my ideal area.

We’ll see. Well, my battery is getting flat and I should really drink up and go home and chill. I just can’t be bothered.

Oh well,

Adios for now,

Pete.
